New Prostitution Law Reform to achieve equality for women who have no choice

I was proud to introduce my Summary Offences (Prostitution Law Reform) Amendment Bill 2023 in the Legislative Council yesterday.

In my speech, I thanked the survivors and advocates who have helped me craft this legislation. It is in their honour, and with their courage behind me that I put forward this alternate model of reform.

I believe we can bring essential change for the 89% of women in the sex trade who do not want to be there.
